Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- less than 1 year experience in housekeeping or janitorial services
- ability to work 16 hours over two weeks on day shifts
- availability for every other weekend and holiday rotation
- ability to follow cleaning and safety procedures
- capacity to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping
- valid work authorization

- Less than 1 year housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- strong attention to detail
- ability to follow safety and cleanliness protocols
- good communication skills
- ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
- willingness to work scheduled day shifts including weekends and holidays
- physical ability to perform housekeeping tasks
Job Duties
- Perform housekeeping duties including vacuuming
- change water bucket or mop head as trained
- use wet floor signs
- maintain housekeeping cart and closet
- replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- clean tile, walls, windows, and glass doors
- ensure chemicals are securely locked up
- clean public areas, resident rooms, and restrooms including disinfecting drinking fountains
- empty and wash waste baskets with disinfectant when needed
- assist with emergency spills
- maintain clean linen carts
- wear gloves at all times
- assist with grounds cleanup when requested
- perform other duties as assigned including room changes, cleaning wheelchairs, and assisting with special events
