Job Duties
- Clean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule
- Clean carpets, furniture and draperies with vacuum cleaner or shampooer
- Sweep, scrub and polish hard floors using broom, mop or power scrubber
- Scrub and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets and bathing rooms
- Dust and polish furniture and metalwork
- Wash windows, sills and doors
- Clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed
- Deep clean according to schedule
- Move and straighten furniture
- Maintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms
- Empty wastebaskets and properly dispose of trash
- Collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry as directed
- Ensure equipment is stored properly
- Promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
