Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and adhere to a cleaning schedule
- perform cleaning assignments and ensure compliance with cleanliness and infection control standards
- maintain the cleanliness of resident rooms and common areas
- report maintenance and repair needs to the supervisor
- manage housekeeping inventory and ensure adequate supplies
- assist with plant and flower care as needed
- prepare rooms for new residents after discharge
- follow safety protocols for handling hazardous chemicals and maintain proper labeling
- attend in-service training and staff meetings to improve service and operational efficiency
