Job Duties
- Performs general cleaning duties including mopping, dusting, wiping, scrubbing, buffing floors, walls, beds, furniture, and fixtures
- Performs resident room cleaning and discharge cleaning
- Operates floor-cleaning machinery for hard flooring and carpets
- Collects and disposes of regular and medical waste at loading dock
- Replenishes supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Maintains housekeeping carts and equipment
- Moves furniture, hangs drapes, and assembles setups as required by departments
- Distributes clean linen and collects dirty linen for storage
- Disinfects and cleans public waiting areas, cafeteria/kitchen settings, personal offices, cubicles, outpatient departmental areas including therapy, radiology, laboratory, and bathrooms
- Performs other duties as assigned
