Job Requirements
- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles
- Ability to work flexible hours part-time according to hospital needs
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cleaning equipment and materials safely
- Commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a similar housekeeping or cleaning role
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Well organised and able to follow cleaning processes
- Motivated, friendly, and flexible attitude
- Knowledge of infection prevention protocols is an advantage
Job Duties
- Clean and prepare a range of hospital areas including patient rooms and communal spaces
- Remove waste safely and efficiently
- Collect and manage linen in accordance with hospital protocols
- Conduct deep cleaning using appropriate equipment and products
- Collaborate with the Infection prevention team by reporting incidents promptly
- Organise work effectively to ensure cleaning does not disrupt patient care
- Maintain a safe, pleasant, and hygienic environment for patients and staff
