Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in housekeeping especially in a healthcare or residential community
- Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting and standing for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning practices and safety procedures
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Job Qualifications
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Experience working in a Memory Care unit preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Job Duties
- Clean resident apartment homes including dusting vacuuming sweeping scrubbing mopping waxing disinfecting washing windows
- Empty trash waste and other disposable materials and transport to disposal area
- Assist care staff with cleaning lobby restrooms hallways elevators stairwells and common spaces
- Report needed repairs to Executive Director and maintenance specialist
