Job Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must have at least six months of work experience in housekeeping, janitorial or related field
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable under the Comanche Nation motor vehicle policy
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass drug testing
  • Must be willing to submit to and pass a background investigation
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 40 lbs
  • Ability to reach overhead and below knees, bend, stretch, stand, sit, kneel or walk for extended periods
  • Capacity to work independently or in a team

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform cleaning and sanitation functions where assigned within the facility
  • Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors and spills
  • Dust mop, clean tables, empty trash receptacles, clean and stock restrooms
  • Stock, maintain, and transport housekeeping supply cart daily
  • Use appropriate equipment and supplies as required
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and safety inside the building
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers and guests
  • Dust and polish various surfaces
  • Inspect and ensure all offices and rooms are well-maintained according to standards
  • Deep clean carpets, drapes, and upholstery
  • Protect equipment and report any inadequacies
  • Check and replace stocking levels of consumables
  • Communicate damages, deficits, and disturbances to supervisor
  • Handle reasonable complaints and requests professionally
  • Perform other duties as assigned
