Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • valid driver’s license required

Job Duties

  • Know and observe relevant fire and safety regulations
  • practice infection control policies and procedures
  • assist in facility emergencies such as cleaning carpets after floods
  • prepare for special events including setup and cleanup
  • keep assigned areas clean meeting Eisenhower Center standards
  • adhere to safety policies regarding chemical usage and cleanup
  • assist with special cleaning assignments such as cleaning windows and light fixtures
  • manage time effectively to complete duties and scheduled breaks
  • clean client rooms, baths, showers, staff offices, therapy rooms, and public areas daily
  • clean floors, shampoo carpets, wash walls, and clean woodwork
  • polish furniture in common areas and polish door plates
  • work with Maintenance, Food Service, and Rehab staff to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • perform other duties as assigned
