Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- experience in housekeeping or similar environment preferred
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- ability to stand and walk frequently and perform physical duties such as bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling
- ability to work part-time 8am to 12:30pm
- reliable and punctual
- ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures
- good communication skills
- ability to interact positively with seniors and staff
- capacity to handle multiple tasks and work independently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office in a Windows environment
- ability to multi-task and prioritize with minimal supervision
- effective oral and written communication skills

- ability to communicate respectfully and professionally with residents, families, co-workers and leaders

Job Duties
- Clean, disinfect and straighten resident rooms, work areas and common spaces according to cleaning schedule
- clean carpets, furniture and draperies with vacuum cleaner or shampooer
- sweep, scrub and polish hard floors using broom, mop or power scrubber
- scrub and disinfect sinks, tubs, toilets and bathing rooms
- dust and polish furniture and metalwork
- wash windows, sills and doors
- clean and disinfect spills and soiled areas as needed or directed
- deep clean according to schedule including moving and straightening furniture
- maintain cleanliness of unoccupied rooms to make them attractive for resident occupancy
- empty wastebaskets and properly dispose of trash
- collect, wash, dry, fold and distribute laundry as directed
- ensure equipment is stored properly
- promote positive relationships with residents, staff and visitors
- perform other duties as requested within scope of responsibility
