Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation protocols
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including bending, lifting and standing for extended periods
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic computer literacy

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community as a whole and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, cleaning main entryway, common areas, dining room, hallways, patios and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, clean and check heat system filters, change bed and linens, ensure adequate linen supplies in each apartment, turn mattresses with assistance, empty waste baskets
- Provide deep cleaning of apartments paying special attention to carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying in the laundry facilities provided
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests at each table with a smile and serve beverages, cereals and/or soups/salads from the cart
- Review the menu, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishable items, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes from tables after meals, reset tables following proper sanitizing procedures, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work by filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned
