Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous housekeeping or custodial experience is an asset
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Basic computer proficiency.

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for both the community and individual resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios, and resident apartments
- Clean and defrost refrigerators as needed, change beds and linens, maintain adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, and empty waste baskets
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments and common areas focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder all linens by washing and drying using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, soups, and salads from the cart
- Take resident meal orders, serve meals and desserts, assist with storage of perishable items, and deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes post-meal, sanitize tables and chairs, vacuum carpets, and complete side work such as refilling sugar holders and cleaning coffee makers
- May perform other duties as assigned.
