Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- availability to work full time, Monday through Friday, 4:00 pm to 12:30 am on second shift
- ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform physical cleaning duties
- capability to respond to customer service needs and requests promptly
- authorization to work in the United States
- willingness to comply with hospital cleanliness and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping experience is preferred
- ability to perform light cleaning duties efficiently and with attention to detail
- strong communication skills for effective interaction with patients, visitors, and staff
- physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- commitment to teamwork and professionalism
- willingness to follow health and safety protocols in a healthcare environment
Job Duties
- Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
- sweeps, scrubs, mops and polishes floors
- vacuums carpets, rugs and draperies
- shampoos carpets, rugs and upholstery
- dusts and polishes furniture and fittings
- cleans metal fixtures and fittings
- empties and cleans trash containers
- disposes of trash in a sanitary manner
- cleans wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
- wipes down glass surfaces
- makes up beds and changes linens as required
- realigns furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
- responds to guest queries and requests
- responds to calls for housekeeping problems, such as spills and broken glasses
- contributes to team efforts
- exhibits professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
- performs other duties as assigned
