Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous housekeeping or custodial experience, preferably in assisted living
  • Ability to stand and perform physical cleaning tasks for extended periods
  • Effective communication skills
  • Must pass background checks and meet health and safety requirements
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Commitment to uphold company values and resident-centered care

Job Duties

  • Coordinate and communicate with housekeeping and team members to maintain service quality for each resident
  • Clean and maintain all residences and common areas on a scheduled basis
  • Ensure all areas of the community are kept clean, neat, attractive, and safe for residents, guests, and staff
  • Support, introduce, and participate in activities that enhance each resident's identity, abilities, and interests
  • Maintain a holistic perspective of service delivery focused on resident wellbeing
  • Follow safety and cleanliness protocols to meet community standards
  • Report maintenance or safety issues promptly to appropriate personnel
