Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Previous housekeeping experience desirable
- Must be able to use small and medium size powered cleaning equipment
- Must be able to listen and follow instructions
- Must be able to read and understand chemical safety programs and SDS sheets
- Must be capable of working safely from ladders and small lifts
- Must complete OSHA Bloodborne Pathogen training and follow procedures
- Ability to operate or willingness to train on large powered cleaning equipment
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must maintain professional appearance
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift
- Ability to work in adverse conditions including noise and dust
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Previous experience in similar functions desirable
- Ability to use small and medium size powered cleaning equipment including vacuums, blowers, window washing equipment
- Ability to listen and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to read and understand GHS Chemical Safety Program and SDS sheets for safe use of chemicals
- Capable of working safely from ladders and small lifts
- Ability to understand and complete OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens training and follow safety procedures
- Qualified or willing to be trained to operate large powered cleaning equipment like floor scrubbers, buffers, sweepers, and carpet extractors
- Ability to work flexible hours including daytime, evening, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Must be at least 18 years old
Job Duties
- Participates in cleaning various rooms and areas of the facility including sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, vacuuming of carpets, removal of trash to proper disposal areas
- Cleans restrooms, restocks and replenishes supplies when required, cleans stains from carpets and seats
- Cleans windows, both inside and outside of the facility
- Assists in the separation of recyclables from trash and the proper disposal of these items
- Cleans and maintains other equipment and areas as directed
- Operates walkie-talkie radio when required
- Presents a neat and groomed appearance and demeanor at all times during the workday
