Job Requirements

  • Six months or more experience in housekeeping work
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance helpful
  • Sufficient physical strength and agility to carry out essential duties
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner including ability to read labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions
  • Ability to identify and resolve potential safety and security problems
  • Ability to handle demanding individuals in a calm and courteous manner

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience in housekeeping work
  • Knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
  • Basic knowledge of maintenance
  • Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to use equipment and chemicals in prescribed manner including reading labels, MSDS information sheets, and instructions
  • Ability to identify and resolve potential safety and security problems
  • Ability to handle demanding individuals calmly and courteously

Job Duties

  • Sweep, mop, dust, and clean the facility daily to meet members needs
  • Clean and maintain floors, carpets, walls, windows, tiled areas, showers, restrooms and other surfaces of facility
  • Ensure that supplies such as soap and paper towels are replaced regularly
  • Empty waste receptacles throughout the facility
  • Perform all housekeeping duties
  • Report building problems to management
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
  • Utilize preventative maintenance and cleaning schedule to keep equipment operational
