Job Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- sufficient mobility and strength to move freely through the building and to assist transfer or otherwise move residents of facility
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- dependable when it comes to showing up on time
- willingness to learn cooking for potential full time opportunity
- pass a background check
Job Qualifications
- Preferred experience at hotels, country clubs or other similar high-end senior living communities
- desire to work with seniors
- compassionate individuals who will represent our community in a positive and professional manner
- ability to work independently and as a contributing team member
- ownership attitude who is able to stay focused despite interruptions throughout the day
- demonstrate good judgment, problem solving and decision-making skills
- ability to detect odors and see spots and spills
- ability to work flexible hours to include evenings and weekends
Job Duties
- Manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- make a significant contribution to the quality of life our residents by maintaining the highest possible quality and consistency
- cleans (dust, dry mop, wet mop, sanitize, scrub) assigned resident apartments and common areas daily
- washes and folds laundry, distributes clean linens and towels and maintains a stocked cleaning cart
- demonstrate organizational skills around time management
- actively participates as a member of a team and committed to working toward team goals
- promote the mission, values and beliefs of Cascade Living
