Job Requirements

  • Must be able to read and write the English language
  • High school education or equivalent preferred
  • Some housekeeping experience preferred
  • Ability to move intermittently throughout the work day
  • Must be able to speak and write English understandably
  • Ability to cope with mental and emotional stress
  • Possess sight/hearing or proper prosthetics
  • Must function independently with flexibility and integrity
  • Meet general health requirements of facility
  • Ability to push, pull, move and lift 20 to 50 lbs
  • Willingness to assist in emergency evacuations

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Perform housekeeping tasks according to federal, state, and local regulations
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of facility
  • Follow directions from Executive Director, Administrator, or Director of Housekeeping
  • Use proper cleaning techniques and equipment
  • Assist with emergency evacuation of residents if necessary
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and coworkers
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
