Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- at least 18 years of age
- prior housekeeping or janitorial experience preferred
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work well with elderly residents
- effective communication skills
- ability to pass criminal background check and health screenings including physical and TB tests
- willingness to adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, screening, testing, and PPE use
Job Qualifications
- Prefer prior housekeeping or janitorial experience
- must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- excellent customer service skills
- strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
- must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
- willingness to comply with vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and personal protective equipment requirements to prevent spread of COVID-19 or other communicable diseases as per regulatory guidelines
Job Duties
- Clean all resident apartments, as directed
- clean all public areas, common areas, and work areas as directed
- complete community and resident laundry and ironing, as assigned
- maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
