Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Record of completion for all education, licenses, training, and certifications at time of hire
- Experience in operating commercial equipment
- Ability to operate work equipment

- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with housekeeping duties

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of patient rooms, nursing units, offices, clinical areas, waiting areas, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and corridors on daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly schedules
- Use proper cleaning techniques and procedures to prevent the spread of infections and disease
- Display knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their appropriate use
- Handle waste disposal from the department and transport to designated disposal areas
- Replenish paper supplies and hand soap in bathrooms
- Perform routine and spot cleaning on carpeted flooring
- Clean interior and exterior windows and mini blinds as assigned
- Maintain continuous cleanup of work areas and equipment
- Manage an adequate amount of cleaning supplies and paper products on cart and in housekeeping closet
- Order supplies as necessary
- Notify maintenance or supervisor of any work requisitions
- Maintain courteous and professional relationships with staff, patients, families, and guests
- Attend meetings and training in-services as required
- Complete and maintain accurate checklists and paperwork
- Ensure adherence to company policies, safety, sanitation guidelines, and employee handbook
- Perform other duties as assigned
