Job Requirements
- Able to push, pull or lift at least 25 pounds
- Able to bend, kneel, stoop or stretch frequently
- Possess the four acute faculties of sight, hearing, touch and smell
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing
- High school diploma or GED is preferred

- Demonstrates good cleaning skills including high dusting, sanitizing, dry mopping, vacuuming, wet mopping, bed making and trash disposal
Job Duties
- Daily cleaning of patient rooms, corridors and public areas
- Sanitizing patient rooms, corridors and public areas
- Terminal cleaning of patient rooms, surgery, cath lab and other critical areas
- Proper usage of chemicals and supplies per departmental policy
- Responsible supply usage and equipment care
- Demonstrating proper hand hygiene and personal protective equipment use
- Compliance with isolation room procedures and infection control practices
- Reporting any policy violations to management
- Adhering to departmental policies on safety, infection control, chemical hygiene and biohazardous waste
- Maintaining neat and orderly work areas
- Completing assignment worksheets and communicating with management
- Attending work-related training and applying knowledge
- Performing additional tasks as needed
