Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- one to three years related experience or training
- prior housekeeping experience preferred
- ability to communicate in English fluently
- ability to stand for long periods
- ability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
- willingness to work assigned shifts including every other weekend
Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience, one to three years related experience or training, prior housekeeping experience preferred, ability to communicate effectively in English, ability to operate cleaning and laundry equipment, strong interpersonal skills and tactfulness, ability to follow instructions and work independently
Job Duties
- Clean all assigned areas according to departmental standards, maintain clean and sanitary conditions using proper cleaning techniques, make independent decisions and follow instructions, interact tactfully with associates, residents, family members, visitors, and the general public, follow written and oral instructions for cleaning compounds and solutions, communicate information about residents' conditions, use supplies economically and report needs to supervisor, operate cleaning machines and commercial laundry equipment, perform additional duties as assigned by Housekeeping Lead
