Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or related hospitality field preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain a professional and guest-oriented attitude
- Knowledge of safe use of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to follow resort policies and procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Teamwork and communication skills
Job Qualifications

- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred
- Good oral and written communication skills

- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Understanding of guest service standards
Job Duties
- Enters and prepares the room for cleaning
- Dusts the room and furniture, vacuums carpet, and mops floors
- Cleans bathrooms, removing soil, dirt/soap build-up, and hair from all surfaces
- Replenishes guestroom and bath supplies in correct amount and location
- Cleans closets and door tracts on check-out rooms, removing dust and debris and ensuring proper placement of hangers, extra blankets/pillows and luggage racks
- Removes dirty bed linen and makes the bed with clean linen
- Performs rotation cleaning duties such as steam-clean carpets and deep cleaning as required
- Performs minor maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs and filters
- Anticipates guests' needs and responds promptly, acknowledging all guests
- Is familiar with all resort services, features and local attractions to respond accurately to guest inquiries
- Attends to and resolves guest calls, requests, and complaints
- Monitors and maintains cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned work areas
- Authorized to enter guestrooms for cleaning and turndown services as required
- Follows standard operating procedures
- Achieves and exceeds guest satisfaction goals
- Assists other team members and is ready to step in as needed
- Updates status of rooms cleaned on assignment sheets
- Returns and restocks cleaning cart at shift end
- Performs all other duties as assigned
