Job Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Institutional housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to read, write and follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to demonstrate correct use of work-related chemicals, supplies, tools and equipment
- Ability to collaborate with others in order to provide optimal customer service
- Ability to lift and transport objects weighing up to 65lbs
- Ability to stoop, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Ability to work from a ladder
- Ability to push and move equipment and furniture
- Manual dexterity, coordination and skillful use of hands when working with required equipment

Job Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of assigned areas using standard supplies and disinfectants
- Sanitize room contents for terminal cleaning after resident discharge
- Clean apartments after resident move or renovations, noting maintenance and damage
- Move and relocate furniture and equipment for resident room changes or events
- Care for hard surface floors and upholstery, including dust mopping, damp mopping, and spot cleaning
- Pick up and remove trash from assigned areas
- Maintain cleaning equipment in clean and safe condition, performing nominal maintenance and removing unsafe equipment
- Communicate effectively with clinical and non-clinical staff
- Report any resident belongings left behind and changes in resident status to supervisors
- Complete cleaning assignments in a timely manner following established procedures
- Cross-train on multiple floors or neighborhoods
