Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience in housekeeping, environmental services or related fields is a plus
  • ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
  • ability to lift up to 35 lbs for clinical staff and up to 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
  • must use assisted-lift devices or seek help for lifting objects beyond weight limits
  • willingness to work full-time overnight shift from 11:00 pm to 7:30 am

Job Qualifications

  • high school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is a plus
  • knowledge of customer service principles
  • understanding of various cleaning processes and protocols
  • ability to follow detailed instructions
  • physical capability to perform cleaning tasks
  • familiar with safety regulations in healthcare environment

Job Duties

  • perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
  • clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
  • manage trash removal process following safety protocols
  • apply different cleaning techniques including daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
  • clean restrooms distinguishing between public areas and patient rooms including showers
  • maintain office and administrative area cleanliness
  • adhere to safety and health standards in all cleaning duties
