Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to maintain a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to follow established housekeeping and safety guidelines
- Ability to work under pressure and manage fast-paced tasks
- Strong listening and conflict resolution skills
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Desire to provide excellent guest service
- Willingness to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable punctuality and adherence to clock-in/out policies
Job Qualifications
- Experience in a hospitality, service, consumer-facing franchise or related field preferred
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to understand and follow established guidelines and procedures
- Ability to work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
- Effective listening, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- Desire to serve guests and provide excellent hospitality
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Willingness to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to arrive and clock in on time and comply with scheduled breaks and call-out procedures
Job Duties
- Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
- Use the guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
- Work together with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
- Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and a sense of urgency
- Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel features and amenities
- Support all groups and events at the hotel
- Answer all incoming calls with friendly service using the approved greeting
- Keep all areas, both front and back of house, clean and well-organized
- Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces to maintain cleanliness
- Greet every guest happily with a smile while cleaning
- Complete all operational checklists accurately and on schedule every shift
- Submit accurate and timely shift handover reports
- Wear a clean, approved uniform and be well-groomed, wearing a nametag and smiling at all times
- Communicate clearly, honestly, and professionally with team members
- Demonstrate a can-do attitude and willingness to stretch beyond traditional roles
- Collaborate with all levels of staff to create a welcoming and effective workplace
- Perform pre-cleaning duties including stocking room supplies and tools
- Thoroughly clean and restock assigned guest rooms each shift
- Undertake additional cleaning projects as assigned by supervisor
- Follow all job-related instructions and perform other related duties as requested
