Job Requirements

  • No previous experience required
  • ability to perform light cleaning duties
  • availability to work on-call schedule including some weekends
  • reliable transportation to ES Via Christi North Ridge in Wichita, KS
  • ability to communicate effectively with patients, visitors and staff
  • physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
  • commitment to uphold a drug-free workplace
  • legal authorization to work in the United States

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • no previous experience required
  • strong attention to detail
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • good physical stamina
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • willingness to work flexible on-call hours including weekends

Job Duties

  • Provide quality customer service to customers by providing one-on-one attention to detail
  • sweep, scrub, mop and polish floors
  • vacuum carpets, rugs and draperies
  • shampoo carpets, rugs and upholstery
  • dust and polish furniture and fittings
  • clean metal fixtures and fittings
  • empty and clean trash containers
  • dispose of trash in a sanitary manner
  • clean wash basins, mirrors, tubs and showers
  • wipe down glass surfaces
  • make up beds and change linens as required
  • realign furniture and amenities according to prescribed layout
  • respond to guest queries and requests
  • respond to calls for housekeeping problems such as spills and broken glasses
  • contribute to team efforts and exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow associates and others
  • perform other duties as assigned
