Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Capability to lift and move heavy objects
- Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Positive attitude and willingness to support a senior living community
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or janitorial services preferred
- Understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Good physical stamina and strength
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
Job Duties
- Cleans resident apartment homes including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing, disinfecting, and washing windows
- Empties trash, waste and other disposable materials and transports to disposal area
- Assists care staff with cleaning lobby, restrooms, hallways, elevators, stairwells, and common spaces
- Reports needed repairs to Executive Director and maintenance specialist
- Maintains a safe and sanitary environment for residents and visitors
- Follows established cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Supports team efforts in maintaining overall community cleanliness
