- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in institutional cleaning preferred
- ability to perform routine and repetitive duties
- neat and clean personal appearance at all times
- effective communication skills in English
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to emergencies

Job Duties
- perform cleaning functions in assigned area
- maintain a sanitary, attractive, and orderly condition of hospital
- operate mechanical equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- perform dry and wet mopping, waste removal, wall and window washing, and floor care procedures
- work in special areas such as Surgery, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Isolation Rooms, or Intensive Care Units
- adhere to safety procedures when exposed to hazardous, combustible chemicals, or infectious diseases
- communicate effectively in English to support safety and hospital operations
