Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 18
- American citizen or Green Card holder
- Willingness to work 12 hours per day for 7 days a week up to 28 weeks
- Ability to meet moderate physical demands including lifting bending climbing and extended standing or walking
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug test
- Strict prohibition of alcohol consumption on board
- Adherence to grooming standards with limitations on tattoos and piercings
- Temporary employment limited to 28 weeks
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be an American citizen or Green Card holder
- Be willing and able to work a minimum of 12 hours per day for 7 days a week for up to 28 weeks
- Be able to meet moderate physical demands including lifting bending climbing and extended periods of standing or walking
- Pass a pre-employment drug test including testing for marijuana and controlled substances
- Adhere to grooming standards including limitations on visible tattoos and piercings
- Maintain composure and a positive attitude under pressure
Job Duties
- Create and maintain a clean safe and attractive environment for guests
- Prioritize comfort and cleanliness of staterooms facilities and common areas around the ship
- Acknowledge guests by name and respond to housekeeping-related inquiries and service requests according to company standards
- Vacuum sweep and mop floors
- Organize inventory and stock linen and supplies
- Clean up spills and notify managers of necessary maintenance requests
- Collect and dispose of trash
- Properly clean upholstered furniture and lounge spaces
- Build genuine relationships with guests and cater to housekeeping requests efficiently
- Assist in greeting guests upon embarkation and support special events such as afternoon tea and evening cocktail parties
