Job Requirements
- Valid driver's license required
- Successfully pass pre-employment medical screenings including drug test, physical, and TB test
- Ability to follow safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work full-time Monday to Friday shifts
- Ability to handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Commitment to a drug-free workplace
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- One year experience in an institutional group setting preferred
- Experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred
- Experience in a school setting preferred
Job Duties
- Sweep, mop, clean, and disinfect all staff areas, offices and bathrooms daily
- Dust and clean all A/C vents daily
- Clean all windows and windowsills
- Note any safety issues and report immediately to Program Coordinator or School Office
- Keep all housekeeping supplies and chemicals in direct line of sight of staff and never leave unattended
- Participate in monthly Environment of Care inspections
- Ensure compliance with Joint Commission Standards of care
