Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in housekeeping or laundry services preferred
- desire to work with senior residents
- ability to follow safety and infection control protocols
- strong communication skills
- ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

- physical ability to perform cleaning and laundry tasks
- compliance with drug testing and other health and safety requirements as mandated by law

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, spot cleaning, and vacuuming
- clean, sanitize, and polish bathroom fixtures
- dust and hand shampoo furniture, clean and polish various surfaces
- respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- transport supplies including linens to appropriate areas
- collect and remove trash maintaining clean receptacles
- collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry
- sort, wash, and dry linens following approved procedures
- fold, count, and stack linens
- inspect linens for wear and follow procedures for damaged items
- maintain cleanliness of commercial laundry area
- assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- practice positive resident relations
- document resident changes in Daily Log
- ensure cleaning chemicals are safely stored
- keep work areas free of hazards
- comply with occupational health and safety requirements
- practice safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
- maintain equipment to prevent accidents
- comply with infection control policies
- participate in team engagement activities
- commit to team goals and Principles of Service
- attend meetings and required training
- perform other duties as assigned
