Job Requirements
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services or related position is a plus
- ability to perform physical tasks such as standing walking lifting up to 35 lbs for clinical and 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- capacity to use assisted-lift device or get assistance for heavy lifting
- willingness to work full-time night shift from 11 pm to 7:30 am
Job Qualifications
- high school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior experience in housekeeping or environmental services is a plus
- knowledge of various cleaning techniques and sanitation processes
- ability to work overnight shift
- basic customer service skills
- physical ability to stand walk sit stoop reach lift and perform other job functions
- familiarity with safety and lifting procedures
Job Duties
- perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
- nursing stations
- lounges
- restrooms
- offices
- clinic areas
- manage trash removal process
- apply different types of cleaning such as daily discharge terminal and isolation cleaning
- clean public restrooms and patient room restrooms including showers
- perform office cleaning tasks
- maintain adherence to environmental services standards and customer service guidelines
