Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting
- Compliance with safety rules and protocols
- Ability to understand and promote residents' rights
- Good physical health
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in cleaning or custodial services preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper handling and usage
- Ability to follow schedules and work independently
- Basic understanding of safety and health regulations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Good communication skills
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as walking, standing, and lifting
Job Duties
- Dusts and cleans assigned areas including residents' rooms, living areas, furniture, fixtures, vents, lavatories, and basins as scheduled
- Uses proper chemicals in proper proportions to dust-mop, wet-mop, spot-mop floors, or strip, seal, wax, and buff floors
- Empties trash containers, replaces liners, and disposes of trash in proper receptacles
- Understands, complies with, and promotes all rules regarding residents' rights
- Reports repair needs to supervisor or maintenance department as appropriate
- Identifies and corrects safety hazards and abides by safety rules
- Walks and/or stands for extended periods and performs moderate to heavy lifting
