Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in institutional cleaning preferred
- able to perform routine and repetitive duties
- neat and clean personal appearance at all times
- express concern for detailed cleaning
- must be able to communicate effectively in English
- must have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to emergencies
- capable of long periods of standing, climbing, stooping, walking, and lifting throughout the working day
- ability to operate mechanical equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- visual ability to detect cleanliness
- willingness to work in special areas such as Surgery, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Isolation Rooms, or Intensive Care Units
- acceptance of possible exposure to hazardous, combustible chemicals, and infectious diseases

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning functions in assigned hospital areas
- maintain sanitary, attractive, and orderly conditions
- operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- perform dry and wet mopping, waste removal, wall and window washing, and floor care procedures
- work in special areas such as Surgery, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Isolation Rooms, or Intensive Care Units
- follow safety protocols to handle hazardous and combustible chemicals
- communicate effectively in English to ensure safety and operational efficiency
