Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- experience providing housekeeping and laundry services
- desire to work with seniors
- ability to follow safety and risk management procedures
- ability to maintain privacy and respect for residents
- physical capability to perform housekeeping tasks
- willingness to complete required training
- compliance with drug testing and other pre-employment requirements
- as applicable, ability to understand and agree to driving job requirements

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding Sunrise’s quality standards
- perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing fixtures
- respect resident privacy by knocking before entering rooms and restrooms
- maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- transport clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- collect and properly dispose of trash and maintain trash receptacles
- collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- inspect linens for wear and report issues
- keep laundry area clean and sanitary
- assist care managers with resident care as needed
- respond to resident requests and maintain positive resident relations
- document resident information and changes by reading and noting daily logs
- ensure proper storage and secure handling of cleaning chemicals
- keep work areas free of hazards and comply with safety and fire codes
- participate actively in risk management programs and comply with safety procedures including PPE and SDS usage
- maintain equipment to prevent waste and damage
- comply with infection control protocols
- work collaboratively as part of the team and contribute to team goals
- demonstrate company values and participate in engagement programs
- attend required meetings and training sessions
- perform additional duties as assigned
