Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to provide housekeeping and laundry services meeting quality standards
- Desire to work with seniors
- Ability to follow safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Good judgment and problem-solving skills

- Ability to work semi-independently and follow through on tasks
- Ability to work with frequent interruptions
- Commitment to team goals and resident satisfaction
- Must pass pre-employment drug test and health evaluations
- Compliance with vaccination requirements as applicable
- If driving company vehicle, must understand driver safety requirements.

- Capability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and with good judgment
- Basic knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals use
- Willingness to participate in required training and community programs.
Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned
- Sweep, dust, mop floors and clean carpets and runners
- Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- Dust, wash, and polish furniture, desk and floor lamps, glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills
- Respect resident privacy by knocking before entering
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate areas
- Collect and remove trash maintaining cleanliness of trash receptacles
- Collect, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens following approved procedures
- Inspect linens for wear and tear and handle damaged linens per protocol
- Maintain commercial laundry area cleanliness and sanitation
- Assist Care Managers and Team Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
- Review and document pertinent resident information daily
- Ensure chemical storage and safety compliance
- Maintain clear, hazard-free pathways and comply with fire safety codes
- Follow infection control techniques and manage bio-hazard container placement and disposal
- Participate actively in team meetings and community engagement programs
- Comply with required training and safety protocols including PPE and lockout-tagout
- Perform other duties as assigned.
