Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in cleaning or hospitality preferred but not required
- ability to operate cleaning equipment safely
- knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
- ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
- physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
- reliable and punctual work ethic
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments
- strong knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- experience in hotel housekeeping or industrial cleaning is a plus
- excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform thorough cleaning tasks efficiently
- good organizational skills to manage multiple responsibilities effectively
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to safety standards
- strong communication skills for reporting issues and coordinating with team members
- physical stamina and mobility to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Job Duties
- perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and specialized floor care techniques to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning materials to ensure availability for staff and guests
- adhere to safety protocols during cleaning procedures, including proper handling of chemicals and equipment
- report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management for prompt resolution
- follow established schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks while minimizing disruption to guests or operations
- maintain a high level of professionalism and discretion when interacting with guests or staff
