Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
- Ability to follow safety procedures
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Basic computer literacy

- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain orders up to four at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills

Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways, common areas, dining rooms, hallways, patios
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, check heat system filters, change bed linens, ensure adequate linen supplies, turn mattresses with assistance, empty waste baskets
- Perform deep cleaning of apartments focusing on carpets, plants, pictures, railings, windows, and light fixtures
- Launder linens using provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests, serve beverages, cereals, soups, salads from the cart
- Review menus, take resident orders, serve meals and desserts
- Return cart to kitchen, assist with storage of perishables, deliver trays to resident rooms if needed
- Bus and clear dishes after meals, reset tables following sanitation guidelines, vacuum carpets
- Complete side work including filling sugar holders, replenishing creamers, cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform other duties as assigned
