Job Requirements

  • Must have experience in a hospitality or related field preferred
  • Must have a positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Must be able to follow guidelines and procedures
  • Must work well under pace and pressure
  • Must be effective at listening, conflict resolution, and communication
  • Must have a desire to serve all guests
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Must be willing to work varied schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Must arrive and clock in on time for every shift and clock out at scheduled times
  • Must clock in and out for breaks as scheduled
  • Must provide sufficient notice for shift call outs
  • Must be able to perform physical demands such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting certain housekeeping items

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in hospitality, service, or consumer-facing franchise preferred
  • Positive can-do attitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to follow established guidelines and procedures
  • Effective listening and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Desire to serve guests with hospitality
  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work varied schedules including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Capability to perform physical tasks such as stooping, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crawling, standing, walking, repetitive motions, and lifting
  • Adherence to uniform and grooming standards

Job Duties

  • Greet guests happily upon arrival and throughout their stay with a smile
  • Use guests' names whenever possible to ensure they feel welcomed
  • Work collaboratively with team members to contribute to great guest satisfaction scores
  • Handle challenging guest situations with hospitality and urgency
  • Maintain strong knowledge of all hotel facilities and amenities
  • Support all groups and events at the hotel
  • Utilize relevant technology for job duties
  • Answer incoming calls with friendly, professional phone etiquette
  • Keep all workspaces clean and well-organized
  • Assist in cleaning guest rooms and public spaces as needed
  • Greet guests positively while cleaning
  • Complete all operational checklists accurately and on time
  • Prepare and hand over shift reports accurately
  • Wear clean, approved uniform and maintain grooming standards
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
  • Show willingness to perform duties beyond traditional role requirements
  • Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming environment
