Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • 2+ years of related housekeeping experience and/or training
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong knowledge and skill in the safe use of various cleaning chemicals including some that may require pre-mixing
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs for trash removal and cleaning equipment purposes
  • Able to kneel, crouch, climb and crawl to assist with repairs
  • Must be able to work a flexible work schedule including weekends
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment at times
  • Valid driver's license and/or access to reliable transportation

Job Duties

  • Clean the leasing office, clubhouse and common areas including restrooms, the models, amenities, and vacant apartment homes daily or as directed by the appropriate supervisor
  • Ensure all vacant apartment homes and targeted show units are freshened throughout the day to maintain market-ready appeal
  • Assist in the make-ready process by performing additional duties requested by Maintenance Manager, Community Director and/or Assistant Manager
  • Inform appropriate supervisor of any observed hazard or potentially dangerous situation to residents, team members, guests, and others
  • Maintain an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies and inform the appropriate supervisor when a re-order is necessary
