Job Requirements
- One year of work experience in a hospitality environment preferred
- ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- ability to work safely with cleaning chemicals
- ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl frequently
- ability to lift or move up to 30 pounds occasionally
- ability to push or pull up to 100 pounds occasionally
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- one year of experience in a hospitality environment such as hotel, country club, or resort preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- knowledge of safe cleaning procedures and chemical handling
- physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, lifting
- attention to detail
- team player with strong work ethic
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize residences including vacuuming and dusting
- clean kitchen and bath fixtures
- turn mattresses and move light furniture
- empty trash receptacles
- clean resident apartments, offices, bathrooms, and common areas
- assist with cleaning and refurbishing vacated residences
- wash, dry, fold, and store linens
- coordinate delivery and return of resident laundry
- keep housekeeping carts clean and organized
- stock carts with cleaning supplies in OSHA-approved containers
- perform other duties as assigned
