Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- previous experience in institutional cleaning preferred
- able to perform routine and repetitive duties
- neat and clean personal appearance at all times
- effective communication in English
- ability to adapt to changing priorities and respond to emergencies
- ability to stand, climb, stoop, walk, and lift throughout working day
- operation of mechanical equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- visual ability to detect cleanliness
- willingness to work in special hospital areas
- tolerance for possible exposure to hazardous, combustible chemicals and infectious diseases

Job Duties
- Perform cleaning tasks in assigned areas
- maintain sanitary and orderly conditions
- operate mechanical cleaning equipment such as buffers and vacuum cleaners
- conduct dry and wet mopping, wall and window washing, and waste removal
- work in specialized areas such as Surgery, Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Isolation Rooms, and Intensive Care Units
- adhere to safety protocols when exposed to hazardous or infectious materials
- communicate effectively with hospital staff and respond to emergencies
