Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas as assigned while meeting or exceeding quality standards
- Perform cleaning duties according to schedule including sweeping, dusting, dust mopping, wet mopping floors, spot cleaning and vacuuming floors, rugs, carpets, and runners
- Clean, sanitize, and polish lavatory, shower, and sink fixtures
- Dust, wash, sponge mop, sanitize and hand shampoo furniture, dust desks and floor lamps, clean and polish glass surfaces, woodwork, walls, and windowsills
- Knock on residents doors before entering and respect their privacy during cleaning
- Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean and orderly condition
- Transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to proper storage and collection areas
- Collect trash and maintain trash receptacles and collection areas in a clean and sanitary manner
- Collect, clean, sort, wash, dry, fold, count, and stack linens properly following approved laundry procedures
- Inspect linens routinely for wear and tear and manage damaged linens according to standard operating procedures
- Maintain the commercial laundry area in a clean and sanitary condition
- Assist Care Managers and Department Coordinators with resident care when requested
- Practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests appropriately
- Review and document daily logs for pertinent resident information and changes
- Ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
- Keep cords, carts, and equipment clear of exits and pathways to comply with safety regulations
- Partner with community team to comply with occupational health and safety regulations
- Practice safety procedures including use of personal protective equipment, fire extinguishers, safety data sheets, and lockout tagout procedures
- Maintain equipment and supplies to avoid waste, damage, and accidents
- Comply with infection control techniques and policies
- Participate actively as a team member committed to team goals
- Follow the Team Member Credo and Principles of Service in daily interactions
- Contribute to team member engagement programs and attend regular meetings
- Maintain compliance with required trainings
- Perform other duties as assigned.
