Job Requirements

  • Capable of standing and walking throughout the workday

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in housekeeping or cleaning services
  • knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
  • understanding of infection control standards
  • ability to follow safety procedures
  • good communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties

  • Participates in on-going visual evaluation of the cleanliness of the facility and addresses any needed areas
  • maintains an ample supply of cleaning materials and necessary equipment in a neat and readily accessible manner
  • checks equipment daily for proper functioning
  • reports all malfunctions or damage according to department policy
  • maintains appropriate logs and records in a timely and accurate fashion
  • complies with infection control, hazardous waste removal, safety and all other company regulations, guidelines, and policies
