Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more
ability to bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
prior experience in housekeeping preferred
valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays
strong work ethic
commitment to guest satisfaction
willingness to comply with all hotel policies and procedures
ability to follow instructions precisely

Job Qualifications

Physically fit to perform all housekeeping duties
ability to work independently with minimal supervision
knowledge of industrial laundry and cleaning equipment
familiarity with cleaning chemicals
understanding of hospitality service standards
good communication skills
attention to detail

basic knowledge of safety and emergency procedures

Job Duties

Pick-up room reports and keys to assigned areas daily
pick up assigned cart and supplies from laundry area
avoid making excessive noise in guest room areas
prioritize cleaning check-out rooms except for special requests
report all rooms marked Do Not Disturb to supervisor
change sheets in every room daily as specified
follow established cleaning procedures
return cart to linen room at end of shift
comply with all management requests
maintain flexibility regarding work schedule
report to work on time in proper uniform
stay informed about daily hotel operations and procedures
engage actively in achieving guest service score goals
adhere to hotel policies and safety procedures
report unusual occurrences to management
assist colleagues to improve hotel operations
perform other duties as assigned
possess valid driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable
