Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED preferred
  • experience in housekeeping and laundry services preferred
  • desire to work with seniors
  • ability to follow safety protocols and infection control techniques
  • willingness to participate in training and team activities

  • physical capability to perform housekeeping duties
  • ability to respect resident privacy
  • valid driver's license if driving company vehicle

Job Qualifications

  • possess good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • competent in organizational and time management skills
  • possess written and verbal communication skills
  • ability to work semi-independently and follow through on assigned tasks
  • ability to handle multiple priorities and frequent interruptions

Job Duties

  • perform general housekeeping duties in resident suites, public areas, and support areas while meeting or exceeding quality standards
  • perform cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, vacuuming, and sanitizing fixtures
  • knock on resident and public restroom doors before entering and respect privacy
  • maintain equipment and supplies in clean and orderly condition
  • transport supplies including clean and soiled linen to appropriate storage areas
  • collect and remove trash maintaining trash receptacles and collection areas clean and sanitary
  • collect, clean, and redistribute community laundry following approved procedures
  • assist care managers and department coordinators with resident care when requested
  • practice positive resident relations and respond to resident requests
  • ensure cleaning chemicals are stored and locked when not in use
  • comply with safety procedures including PPE and fire safety
  • participate in team meetings and training
  • contribute to team success and community goals
