Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
  • lifting limited to 35 lbs for clinical staff and to 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
  • use assisted-lift devices or get assistance for heavy lifting
  • ability to perform essential cleaning duties satisfactorily
  • willingness to follow health and safety protocols
  • able to work full-time from 3 pm to 11:30 pm
  • able to accommodate reasonable disability accommodations if needed

Job Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • prior work experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
  • knowledge of cleaning processes and customer service skills
  • ability to perform physical work as required
  • familiarity with healthcare cleaning protocols is a plus

Job Duties

  • Perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
  • clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
  • remove trash according to protocol
  • execute specific cleaning methods such as daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
  • clean restrooms in public areas differently than patient rooms including showers
  • provide office cleaning services
  • comply with safety and hygiene standards
