Job Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- lifting limited to 35 lbs for clinical staff and to 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- use assisted-lift devices or get assistance for heavy lifting
- ability to perform essential cleaning duties satisfactorily
- willingness to follow health and safety protocols
- able to work full-time from 3 pm to 11:30 pm
- able to accommodate reasonable disability accommodations if needed
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- prior work experience in housekeeping or environmental services preferred
- knowledge of cleaning processes and customer service skills
- ability to perform physical work as required
- familiarity with healthcare cleaning protocols is a plus
Job Duties
- Perform daily cleaning tasks for patient and resident rooms
- clean nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and clinic areas
- remove trash according to protocol
- execute specific cleaning methods such as daily, discharge, terminal, and isolation cleaning
- clean restrooms in public areas differently than patient rooms including showers
- provide office cleaning services
- comply with safety and hygiene standards
