Job Requirements
- Housekeeping experience required
- Experience utilizing basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- Proper safety skills in handling housekeeping chemicals
- Acute healthcare work experience
- Experience operating heavy-duty cleaning equipment
Job Qualifications
- Experience in housekeeping using basic housekeeping practices and procedures
- Knowledge of proper handling and disposal of infectious waste
- Ability to safely handle housekeeping chemicals
- Experience working in acute healthcare environments
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as buffer extractors, wide area vacuums, and wet vacuums
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and other areas
- Follow established cleaning and disinfection protocols and procedures
- Collect and dispose of waste, biohazardous waste and linens
- Stock and maintain supplies in patient rooms and common areas
- Respond to requests for cleaning services from healthcare staff
- Operate heavy-duty equipment and use special cleaning equipment
