Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in housekeeping or food service preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize time effectively
- Physical ability to perform housekeeping duties including lifting and bending
- Availability to work full-time hours
Job Qualifications
- Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills
- Effective communication in English with employees and residents
- General knowledge of sanitation and safe food handling practices
- Ability to retain up to four orders at one time
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Basic computer skills
Job Duties
- Provide general housekeeping for the community and resident apartments including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning entryways and common areas
- Clean and defrost refrigerators, change bed linens, empty waste baskets, and maintain linen supplies in resident apartments
- Perform deep cleaning of carpets, windows, light fixtures, and other designated areas
- Launder all linens using company-provided laundry facilities
- Follow company sanitation and safety procedures
- Greet residents and guests with a smile and serve beverages, cereals, and soups/salads
- Review menu items with residents, take orders, and serve meals and desserts
- Clear and bus tables after meals, reset dining areas, and follow sanitizing procedures
- Complete side work such as refilling sugar holders and cleaning coffeemaker
- Perform additional duties as assigned or needed
