- shampoo floor surfaces
- clean and dust furniture
- clean closets
- clean telephone areas
- clean vents
- scour sinks
- polish sinks
- sanitize sinks
- clean counters
- clean stainless steel surfaces
- empty waste receptacles
- clean solid waste containers
- transport medical waste to outside storeroom
- use room deodorizer
- ensure paper supplies are available
- wash windows
- wash walls
- remove draperies and rugs as directed
- gather and return cleaning supplies and equipment daily
- follow OSHA standards for handling infectious waste
